We have secured the signing of striker Jason Hart from Padiham FC. The Management Team are delighted to have secured his services and have further commented "He is someone we have been chasing for a while,. One of our first calls when we got the job was asking about Jason’s availability but at the time he was on contract at Colne. Jay is a product of Blackburn Rovers' youth academy, who has experience of playing non-league. In recent years, he has had a host of teams from higher up the football pyramid watching him and enquiring about his services, but Jay stayed loyal to Colne for the past 3 years until September this year when he joined Padiham. Jay is good friends with our coach Jordan which I am sure helped us secure Jay’s signature. Jay loves to play off the shoulder, has electric pace, good strength and a great eye for goal, which are great attributes for a striker to have, but what impressed us the most is how natural and instinctive he is as a footballer. Jay is a great addition to the squad and we expect his arrival to have a positive impact. We are equally sure that his goals and acrobatic celebrations which follow will make an instant hit with the Topside. Jason will go straight into the squad for tonight’s game against Harrogate Railway."
