Clitheroe midfielder Alex Ralph spoke of his excitement going into the hectic Christmas period and hopes that his team can gather together a good set of wins to lift the team further up the table.

"The Christmas period is always hectic, not just for me but for all the players and coaches as we all have important jobs to do for the club in order for us to succeed, we're all in the same boat working together."

"I look forward to this time of year because it allows you to get a good run of games together and I think that can only be a positive thing for myself personally that's why I look forward to it."

"I think every game is a must win game for us as we want to do the best we possibly can in the league, I would just like to thank all the fans that turn up every week to support us without fail whether we win lose or draw."

"At the minute I'm playing pretty well, I'm working as hard as I can for the team and Si and the coaches are always encouraging and just want to get the best out of you as a player."

"As a team I think we are doing really well, we are putting together a good run of performances and I think that's showing on the pitch as we are winning games against some good teams, the recent Bamber Bridge game is an example of that. I am hoping we can win most of these games over the Christmas period and be in the top half by new year."
