The First Team picked up a point on the road after a 2-2 draw with Bow Street on Saturday.
Jordan Jones put us ahead on the half hour mark after pouncing on a defensive mix up to slot home. Ger Jones fired over after being set up by Jordan Jones minutes later. Our opponents drew level just before half time, a goalmouth scramble resulted in the ball being forced home from close range.
Bow Street took the lead just after half time, we failed to clear our lines and the ball was turned in from close range. The lead lasted just two minutes as Scott Williams drove forward and squared for Peter Rees to tap home. Just before the hour mark defender Daniel Lewis was sent off for two bookings. We had the opportunity to go ahead with twenty minutes remaining but Peter Rees saw his penalty saved by the Bow Street keeper. The remaining minutes saw our opponents have the majority of possession but fail to test keeper Kris Williams in goal as we held firm to pick up a point.
