On the 21st of July at 11am at the Brenig two teams of 4 will go head to head to ride around the Brenig for 24 hours. The 2 teams have a mix of Vets, Mini/Juniors Coaches and 2 ladies.
There will be a prize for the individual who manages the most laps. We are looking for support during the 24 hours to keep us going and even some to do the odd lap or 2 in that 24 hours.
We have the use of the facilities at the Brenig and it would be great to get as many club members up there during the day. Committee members to see us off and see us in the next morning would be much appreciated.
The Brenig have been fantastic in getting this organised and we are very grateful for their support, especially Nick Aitkin.
We are raising funds for Welsh Hearts carrying on from last years fund raising around Anglesey, completing a 100 miles in one day.
We have also linked in with a group from the Golden Lion in Llanfihangel. I recently took part in a 200 mile bike ride with fellow Denbigh Dog Mike Parker and 20+ others over 3 days. We are trying to raise as much money as possible for village Defibrillators.
I will also be taking part along with Denbigh Dog Jeff Williams in August to ride around Anglesey again. We hope we can add to the money raised in this final event. This has been the philosophy of the Y Fets (Denbigh Dogs) from the start, we might be too broken to play anymore but we can raise money for good causes.
