Olympian donates Tour De France 2017 cycling jersey to Denbigh Golf Club Auction of Promises.

This Saturday, 22nd July, is Captain’s Day at Denbigh Golf Club and this year’s captain, Tegid Phillips is holding a special Auction of Promises, with only five items available.

Two of the items have been donated by Geraint Thomas, double Olympic cycling gold medal winner and wearer of the Yellow Jersey on four days at this year’s Tour de France. Geraint’s promises are:

His book with personal greetings to the individual making the successful bid and, hot off the press.

One of the four yellow numbers (number 9) which Geraint wore on the four days he was in the lead of this year’s Tour de France - an unique opportunity and a fantastic gesture by Geraint.

It should be emphasised that there are only four of these numbers anywhere in the world - and Geraint has been kind enough to donate one of them for Tegid’s auction.
Please see attached photographs.

Anyone wishing to make a bid for either of the above should contact Tegid Phillips on 01745 812375 or 0790 1973 297 or

Please feel free to share this information with your family and friends.
