Credit to Clydebanks groundstaff after the recent bad weather as the pitch was in perfect condition in glorious sunny conditions. Bank received the kick and dominated posession in the early exchanges. Endricks powerful forwards were repelling the attacks around the fringes of the breakdown but pushed the limits of the laws and were conceding penalties. On 10 minutes Bank opted to kick to the corner instead of taking a shot at goal and were rewarded with a classic catch and drive try. The away side couldn't stop the rumbling maul and flanker Jamie Boyd was in control to open the scoring. Ross Moffat was unlucky with the tricky conversion from out wide.

This prompted Endrick into action and they came back into the match using a a simple game plan and were smashing back the home defenders who couldnt match their aggressive running. The took the lead from a simple crash ball and the try was unconverted. Endrick continued to batter the Red and Blacks defence and were pretty much camped in the the home half but were unable to turn posession into points. Moffatt got Clydebank back into the match with a finely struck penalty to take a slender lead. This didn't last long though as Strathendrick scored another try with 5 minutes of the half left and the conversion was successful to take a 4 point lead at half time.

Bank upped their game and aggression levels in the second half and had sustained periods of pressure. Stratendrick came at them sticking to their gameplan but the home defence were knocking them back time after time. The away side had a man sent to the sin bin for 10 minutes for hands in the ruck and Bank then took the lead. After some nice passing and recycling down the blind side, Moffatt passed to Euan Cuthbert who dived over for the score. Moffat was unssuccesful with the tough touchline conversion and Bank now had a 1 point lead with 10 minutes to go.

There was a sense of deja vu when with 5 minutes to go and like the previous game against Stewartry, Clydebank conceded a penalty in kickable range. Endrick were using their left winger to kick at goals instead of their usual reliable scrum half and he pulled the kick wide to the relief of the Bank players who knew they had just got out of jail. They recovered posession and closed out the game to record a hard fought victory.
