The Ravens open the new season with what will be their second longest trip of the season when they travel to Leiston for Adam Stevens first competitive game on his return to Coalville.
Both sides have moved across to the Evo Stik Southern League Premier Division Central after previously competing in different leagues, Leiston were previously in the Bostik League Premier Division & reached the Play Off Semi Final where they were narrowly beaten by the eventual Play Off winners Dulwich Hamlet 1-0.
The two sides have met twice previously with each side running out narrow victors, the first meeting was in the FA Cup in 2008 with Leiston winning 1-0 before Coalville returned the favour in the FA Vase Quarter Final in 2011 again winning 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ant Carney.
After being involved for much of the pre season games as a trialist Ryan Ebanks has now signed and is expected to be in the squad, Daniel Creaney is an injury doubt for the fixture having picked up a knock in pre season whilst Lee Cox returns to the squad for the first time since September 2017.
