Placed 4th and taking on Sheerwater (who are 3rd), meant this was going to be a huge game for both teams.

Sheerwater got off to the better start and scored from a quality chip after 20 minutes. Gradually Cobham got themselves back into the game and with just a few minutes left before half time, James King (seen here celebrating), received a through ball into the penalty area and smashed home from a tight angle. Great goal, of real quality.

The second half was all Cobham as they pressed Sheerwater and pushed for a winner. Eventually the goal came from midfielder Callum Wilson, who received the ball out side of the box and launched a shot leaving the keeper no chance. 2-1 to Cobham.

Now in the 9th minute of extra time, Sheerwater received a corner, pushing everyone up including the goal keeper. What happened next tells you it’s never over until the final whistle. The corner went into the near post and was flicked on for the equaliser.

Finishing 2-2 means the battle goes on, although Cobham have the advantage with two games in hand an only two points behind 2nd and 3rd place. Com'on you Hammers!
