The senior squad have just announced 63 players have made themselves available for this years campaign, covering Cumbria League 1 and 2, the Cumbria Cup and The Cumbria League Cup.

The club has decided to re start the Junior Committee as part of the on going developments and will feed into the management group to ensure the whole club development process continues. Please let Steve Stainton or Carl Whild know if you would be happy to support.

Sponsorship of the club going great with a number of local businesses now supporting the club through kit sponsors, match boards or game day sponsorship. A thank the sponsors day will be held in the season, anyone business wanting to get on board, please speak to senior player Paul Greening.

Away from the rugby side, the club is also working very hard to maximise it usage. This week the club has been used for a caravan rally, a business meeting, a social evening by Cockermouth Titans, a football camp, Chance Camp holiday camp, Ospreys Cheerleading, Dance, Slimming World, Rugby training by Cockermouth Wasps and Titans, Archery and free play by local children.

The facility has had further work to upgrade it with painting completed by Carl Whild and his organisation, bar re fit by Sean Cusack and a team of volunteers led by Steve Stainton are making progress on the new pagoda.

Hopefully everyone is aware the club registration evening is on Thursday 31st Aug. The bar will be open from 6pm, club officials on hand to welcome new and existing members. All players will complete a fun rotation of fitness tests which will be coducted by senior players for junior players, whilst parents can relax in the bar and view all the updates from the club and have a chat with club officials.
