With two wins and two draws from their first four games, Jake Stone's Reserve team have made a good start to the campaign, already finding the net nine times. O.N Chenecks have played a game less, but have two wins and one defeat to date. On Saturday they triumphed 4-1 at Rothwell Corinthians with former Cooks Reserve team player/manager Charlie Wixon and Lee Wilson both hitting braces.
Last year's fixture here, also played under lights, ended in a comfortable victory for the Cooks. Three-up by half time through Joe Shanley, Lewis Galpin and Ashley Clamp, Cogenhoe could have added to their tally but the only goal of the second half came a minute from time, inevitably from the boot of Charlie Wixon.
Kick-off is 7-45pm.
