Rothwell Corinthians Sargeants Lawn is the venue for the Reserves last game of the season tomorrow.

Cogenhoe United Reserves travel to fourth placed Rothwell Corinthians on Saturday to bring down the curtain on their successful season. There is still plenty to play for too with runners-up spot still a possibility for both sides. Our 1-1 draw at home to Olney Town on Tuesday means that it is Desborough's to lose now as goal difference gives them the upper hand. They also have the advantage of knowing exactly what they have to do in their final game at home to Bugbrooke as they don't play until the following Saturday, so they will just have to match what we do tomorrow. Corinthians could also still pip us, but their 2-3 reverse at home to Raunds in midweek has dented their chances of second place. Just a point tomorrow will mean we go second and are guaranteed third spot at worse, a superb achievement in it's own right, but a win will put pressure on Desborough as they go into the final game. Should Corinthians win they will be a point behind both us and Desborough with their final game being next Saturday at home to Olney.
An exciting end to the season even if Lutterworth Athletic have wrapped up the title with a couple of games remaining.
The first game between us and Corinthians ended 1-1 at Compton Park with Ashley Clamp netting our goal and William Linnett replying for the visitors.
With no first team game this weekend, they finish their season at home to Harborough Town next weekend, try and make the trip to Rothwell to cheer the lads on if you can. Kick-off is 3pm.
