New Scoreboard at the Airfield!

After the steady start last week we have 4 teams in action this weekend. The 1's will be hoping to get their first win, the 2's looking to stay unbeaten and the 3rds and Sunday 1's starting their league campaigns.
The 1st XI take the short journey to Witham who have strengthened for the 2015 season and will be looking to better their relegation threatened 2014, while Coggeshall will be looking to repeat last years wins both home and away.
The 2nd XI start their home campaign hosting East Bergholt. East Bergholt fell short against Clacton in their opening match whilst the CTCC 2's won away at Bury St Edmunds. Darren's gang will be able to add a little more experience to the side this week and will want to make full use of home ground advantage.
The 3rd XI are at the Airfield for their opening game and will be taking on Copford 2's. Copford are fresh from a convincing 192 run in their opening match and will provide a tough start for Ben's Boys. Hopefully they can christen the new scoreboard with a victory!
On Sunday the "Ginger Juggernaught" is back on the road with a trip to West Mersea. After last years promotion our "new" Sunday 1st XI will be keen to pit their skills at a higher level. West Mersea were relegated from Div 3 last season and no doubt will be looking to bounce straight back.
Away from the senior matches Colts training (proper) begins on Saturday for the Year 6 and unders with the Year 7s and up on Monday evening. Dont worry if you havent registered yet Lisa and her "Dream Team" of helpers will be there to smooth the process.

Fingers x'd for the sunshine to continue and success for all the teams!
