Comets 1 had another good game tonight v Vixens in the Medway summer league with a bare 7 players. Comets lead every quarter convincingly after great shooting from Zoe, Jo and Ellie. There were Injury worries at half time, after Claire had a knee twinge and the third quarter was played with 6 players. Ellie later in the third quarter had a ball in the face and a nose bleed and was substituted for the injured Claire who managed to see out the rest of the game. Well done all another good win. Final score 72-26. No more summer league, bring on the new season.
