Mini & Junior Directors Highlights - January

3 weeks ago By Danny Robinson

Steady Progress

January's Highlights are as follows!

A new timetable has been forged to meet the need of the club.

There are now 14 sessions a week which cover 400 children in the Congleton and Biddulph area. The session have a focus on under 11's, 12's and 13's&14's.

I have also supported Congleton High School with fixtures against other schools in Cheshire area.

Meeting with the Congleton Town Council Youth lead Mike Smith to build a relationship so as a club we can engage with the youth in the community.

I have attended the Schools Sports partnership meeting to promote the club and also recruit new schools to try Rugby Union.

I have supported the clubs accreditation award from the RFU.

Working on a Award based on the DofE to work on player retention - more will be announced soon.

Supporting the under 6's and 7's with a coaching session to give the coaches new ideas to implement in their sessions - Great work Tom Vandersteen!

Fixtures have been regularly played on Sunday with all teams having the opportunity to play!
