It is with deep regret that I advise that Rus has decided to resign from his position as Chairman and Director of Congleton RUFC for personal reasons. He will remain as Senior Fixture Secretary and Referee contact.

I welcome the fact that Rus wishes to retain his involvement with the Club and thank him on behalf of you all for the countless hours he has spent working tirelessly to the benefit of us all.

I hope that you all will take the opportunity to thank him for all his hard work and respect his decision.
