On Wednesday the 15th November a team of volunteers spear headed by Danny Robinson - refereed and canvassed for the club at the year 5&6 tag festival which was held at Congleton High School.

Throughout the day Mike Somers, Callum Greeney, Steve Hough and Andy Jones refereed the fixtures and were commended for their excellence.

While Andy Simpson and Simon Greeney where doing a fantastic job of canvasing the club.

At the festival there were over a 100 children who enjoyed the day and hopefully have experienced a small taste of what rugby can offer them and that they can now come to the club and enjoy it further.

I would also like to thank Mrs Harrison from Mossley Primary School for organising the festival and hopefully we can form a partnership to be able to run these festivals more often.

Finally thank you again to the volunteers from the club who helped throughout the day and I would like to pass my personal thanks to them!
