gap Connah's Quay Nomads Academy

After having a number of big fixtures in the last few weeks which have been organised superbly by Mark Spaven (under 10s manager) the ten's have gained even more opportunities for their players.

As is always the aim at the Nomads academy to get all players to the highest level possible this is fantastic news.

Following a recent game against Shrewsbury Towns academy side which the side lost 6 4 to Harvey Tattum, Sam Williams, Daniel Spaven and Leon Sumner were invited to trial with the club.

Leon in particular had a very strong game in which he scored all four goals for the side.

As well as interest from Shrewsbury Daniel Spaven and Sam Williams have also began a six week trial period with Liverpool academy.

A massive well done to all players concerned and we wish them all the best in their pursuits of gaining a contract at one of these professional academy sides.
