Academy games fall victim to weather

6 years ago By Jay Catton

All academy games for tommorow have been canceled due to water logged pitches.

Unfortunately the Connah's Quay sports centre has informed us this afternoon that the pitches are out of use for tommorow. With the weather as it is and the forecast for this evening, they have no choice.

Dock Road has also fell victim to this afternoons rain, leaving us with no alternative but to cancel.

We all at the academy are never keen to cancel any games but the pitch conditions have left us with no choice.

A reminder that this Monday we will be having our sports lectures at Deeside College.

All under 14 and 12 players need to arrive at the Deeside Stadium at 17:45 and will walk with their coaches straight to training following the lecture.

All under 16 players need to arrive at 18:45 and will also go straight to training following this.

If anyone is unavailabvle or has any problems must inform your coaches as soon as possible.
