Academy North Cup Finals Details
Under 14 and 16 sides progress to North Finals and will face Bala Town and TNS academies in the next week.
Our under 14s won their semi final last night against Airbus UK Broughton at the Deeside Stadium.
The Nomads had taken a two nil lead at the break thanks to two goals from Owain Edwards.
But Airbus fought back well in the second half and scored two goals in the remaining ten minutes to take the game into extra time.
Nomads pushed on well in the extra time period and with two minutes remaining were awarded a penalty when the Airbus player handled the ball in the box which was converted well from Ben Finnegan.
The under 14s will now face Bala Town at Wrexham Colliers Park this Sunday in the North Wales Final.

The under 16s who lost their semi final to Airbus by two goals to one last week have been re instated into the competition as Airbus were found by the FAW to have fielded ineligible players.
The side now look forward to facing The New Saints in the north Final which will take place a week tomorrow at Buckley Towns stadium ground.
