The first team of the week for 2018 has been compiled by U9 coach Craig Griffiths following this weekends fixtures.

U8s Kaden Wickens

Kaden played with great energy and was a constant threat in two very competitive games against Rhyl and Chester Nomads. Some excellent trickery coupled with 2 assists and 1 well taken goal was enough to edge it as there were a few really good performances from the lads.
Well done Kaden. (James Duff U8 Coach)

U9s Taylor Williams

Taylor was calm and composed on the ball in Fridays game against Wrexham. Giving his best to get the ball back for his team mates and rarely gives the ball away. Very good footballing brain for a young player. (Craig Griffiths U9 Coach)

U10's Drew

Player of the week- Drew had 2 very good days of football, first against Wrexham on Friday night and then in the academy futsal on Saturday morning. Always making an angle to receive the ball and always trying something new. (Ben Nash U10 Coach)

U11's Tom Hughes

Tom had a solid performance Friday night in the centre of a back 3 against Wrexham which ended in a one all draw which could of gone either way, he swept up every loose ball, it was a performance where we couldn't afford to bring him off and he managed the game well, well done Tom.(Jason Bell U11 Coach)

U12s - Jack Lever

Jack was excellent during a difficult game against Wrexham on Friday night. Getting stuck in throughout and looking to be positive when in possession. Followed this performance up during Sunday's futsal, being as reliable as ever and bagging himself a goal! Well done Jack! (Jordan Mapp-Jones U12 Coach)

U13's - Luca Hogan

Luca put in a very good performance against Flint on Sunday capping it off with 2 well taken goals, the first a free kick to put the lads 1-0 up and the second a glancing header from a corner. (Ben Nash U13 Coach)

U14s Josh Stanley

A fantastic futsal debut showing great hold up play bringing others into game along with fantastic work rate and technical ability topping it off with some fine goals. (Dale Johnson U14 Coach)

U15s - Zac Tyler Holland

Zac showed great technique and desire from left full back solid performance today and great attitude in training this week also. (Anthony Weaver U15 Coach)

U16s - Lee Rodgers

After stepping up to play in an U19s friendly, Lee was always positive during futsal and scored some great goals. (Mark Rowlands U16 Coach)

U18s - Dawson Butcher

Dawson was excellent for 18s v Flint Mountain winning his battles in the air and was first to every ball. A commanding performance.(Kevin Manley U18 Coach)

U19s - Joe Sullivan

Difficult start to 2018 for the 19s but Joe has been an example for others to follow. Aside from his excellent performances for the 19s, he has also earnt a recall from his loan and made it into the senior squad alongside Conor Harwood. Well done Joe. (Daniel Reece U19 Coach)

Coleg Cambria Nomads Academy Scholars B team

POW was Dawson Butcher, played very well at CB defended well and competed well in the opposition box which helped the side to defeat Bala Town FC scholars 9-0 in the league. Well done Dawson. (Iain Bennett Scholars Coach)
