Following fixtures v Shrewsbury, Sheffield United, Preston North End, Llandudno and Caernarfon, this weeks team of the week has been announced.

Under 8 – Fin Meredith

Fin's application in training has been 10/10 this week. Also a strong display from Fin at the back in a tough game this weekend. Breaking up the oppositions attacks and then trying to start our attacks to good effect. Well done Fin. (James Duff U8 Coach)

Under 9 – Blake Rigby

Blake has been superb for a number of weeks but has been solid in his 2 games this weekend, breaking play up and creating numerous chances for his team mates and even got himself on the score sheet twice. (Craig Griffiths U9 Coach)

Under 10 – Jake Carroll

Jake has been getting better and better every week since signing in October, he proved this with 2 brilliant performances in goal Friday and Saturday this week. (Ben NashU10 Coach)

Under 11 – Harry Price

Harry was brilliant Friday v Shrewsbury after a few weeks of bad results his confidence had been knocked, however Friday it didn't show, he was very brave and commanding, his starting position was good he was able to close down their attacks well, he kept us in the game with some great saves and he organised the defence well, Well done Harry. (Jason Bell U11 Coach)

Under 12 – Connor Parry

Connor was excellent v Llandudno in an attacking sense but also what was a delight to see was his defending attributes, he covered loads of ground and played a huge part in our sides win. Well done Connor (Leighton Sumner U12 Coach)

Under 13 – Finley Lambert

Put in a performance where we struggled to move the ball on Friday night, Finley’s played up for us & his work rate and attitude during the game was a real standout for me!! He was brave enough to have shot at goal in and around the box and provided bundles of energy out wide!! (Daniel Mapp-Jones U13 Coach)

Under 14 – Steffan Knight

Strong performances on both days over the weekend , two goals and two assists in Sunday’s game taking up some great positions in the final third earning him due reward , showing some great touches and technical ability , making real progress of late. Well done Steffan (Dale Johnson U14 Coach)

Under 15–Harry Challinor

Harry put in a solid outstanding defensive performance in the teams 3-2 win vs Preston winning all battles both in the air and on the ground Special mention to Adam Pettis also who was just pipped to award by Harry. Well done Harry. (Anthony Weaver U15 Coach)

Under 16 - Finn Holt

Outstanding in a wide area today doing both sides of the game very well, worked hard when asked to defend and proved to be the game changer in second half when asked to play in a different role. Well done Finn. (Iain Bennett U16 Coach)

Academy Scholars B – Taylor Ashcroft

B team player of the week was Taylor Ashcroft excellent in midfield controlled the game and made sure we took control from the 1st minute. A number of players were excellent on the day but Taylor stood out.(Iain Bennett Scholars Coach)

The captain led the team superbly in our Welsh Youth Cup win. Excellent distribution from the Centre Back, allowing us to building attack’s against a very structured opposition.
