U8s Junior Kelly
Juniors defensive efforts this weekend were exceptional, Playing with confidence throughout all periods looking immensely comfortable on the ball stepping in from the back and putting hard fought challenges in against a physical Bangor side.
U9s Owen Conway
Owen was very effective up front, gave the Bangor defenders a tough time when in possession aswell as without the ball. Scored the equaliser and then won a penalty to give us the lead as we took control of the game.
U10s Alfie Griffiths
There were a couple of contenders this week for player of the week. Lennon young and Connor Dean were excellent and both scored really good goals and assisted against Bangor but alfies has started having a good run in Front of goal recently and was given man of the match by the coaches of Bangor, alfie has had some consistent performances in recent weeks and scored 2 super goals at the weekend and under pressure with 4 mins to go against Bangor he was clean through with just the keeper to beat, he cooley slotted the ball home for the winner for the 10s who won 4-3. Well done alfie.
U11s Ben Cronshaw
Despite the 11s scoreline Ben never stopped working whilst playing at the back and then being switched out wide. Leads by example every week, never moans and gets on with what is being asked.
U12s Tom Hughes
Tom was very effective in both games this week, firstly away to Prestatyn and secondly at home to Cefn Druids, in both matches he terrorised the defence and created multiple chances for him and the team.
U13s Jack Lever
Jack sets a tremendous tempo in everything he does, whether that is training or match days!! He’s great example to the rest of the group in what a coach expects in terms of quality on the ball and work rate. His consistency throughout the 70mins on Sunday was excellent and deserves its recognition even though he may not claim rewards in goals & assists!
U14s Luca Hogan
A difficult day for the U14’s where they struggled to get going, Luca gave us a great outlet with some trumendous hold up play doing exactly as he was asked, he brought others into the game and was involved in all of Nomads good play.
U15 Owen Czerniak
Good strong performance from Owen in holding midfield , won every tackle and was extremely disciplined in a very one sided game , always available and rarely gave the ball away, top performance Owen.
U16s Harry Challinor
Harry defended great today, covered well, tackled hard and got our equaliser with a superb header
Scholars B/18s Nathan Jones
In a one sided 10.0 victory v Bradley Park it was too easy for the side to loose their shape and descipline but Nathan held the shape of the midfield and ensured there was always a constructive outlet. He switched play well and always looked to build from the back and keep posession and not go route 1. A very disciplined perfirmance.
Scholars A / 19s Max Moore
Was outstanding on Wednesday against AFC Fylde, great discipline of the ball and excellent when in possession, had a great two weeks or so and really deserves this award. Well done Max
