The best way to keep up to date with Connah's Quay Nomads Academy

Car Park Update for Academy Parents, Players and Spectators

8 months ago By Jay Catton

New parking details for all academy weekend games starting from Saturday 30th September 2017.

All parents will be aware of the on going parking issues at Connah's Quay High School at present due to the school building works by the company Kier.

Unfortunately these building works are for two years and is a problem which is only going to get worse on weekends.

With a number of car park spaces now gone with the 3G user groups, grass pitch users and indoor hall user groups leaving the car park over full and at times dangerous.

As a club we are pleased to inform all parents that on Saturdays and Sunday moving forward we have come to an agreement with club partners Coleg Cambria to aid us in using the A level car parking facilities on weekend.

We would like to thank David Jones and Steve Jackson of Coleg Cambria for aiding this as it is a help to Nomads Academy teams, opposition sides as well as council users on the grass pitch and sport centre also.

From tomorrow all Nomads Academy parents and opposition sides will be asked to park in the bus lanes at Coleg Cambria A level facility directly next to The Quay 3G for all Saturday and Sunday games.

This will allow easy and simple parking for all of our teams as well as aiding the high school car park to be free for their local users also.

We please ask all parents on weekends to always park in this facility and no longer on the Connah's Quay High School site please.

A huge thanks again to Coleg Cambria for aiding the football club and local community highlighting the excellent and continued partnership.
