The first event taking place at the facility is the National Cymru Cup!
Its great to be selected to host the three team event which will see the U14 Welsh National team (Including former academy player Levent Gundogan) compete against the elite Northern and Southern select Academy Sides.
The event will take place on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th July with all games taking place on The Quay 3G. All sides will play each other once with a total of six games over the two days.
More details will be released on this event at a later date as Nomads Academy players will be involved and it is a great opportunity for the local community to come and witness potentially the next Gareth Bale coming through the ranks!
UEFA B License Re Assessment
The club are also hosting a UEFA B license re assessment day led by the FAW Trust taking place on Monday 31st July from 9:00-13:00.
The club has always been proud to support and aid all of our academy coaches on the coaching courses and we aim to have all coaches up to UEFA B license standard minimum over the next two years.
To date we have 11 UEFA B license coaches with a further 6 undertaking the course this year.
National Academy Workshop
On Wednesday 16th August The Quay 3G and Clubhouse will also be hosting the FAW Trust, Academy Workshop for all Northern Welsh Premier and non Welsh Premier academies.
Included on the evening will be the National Coaching Syllabus and Academy Admin Workshop.
It is great as a football club to strengthen links even further with the FAW and FAW Trust and look forward to hosting these three events.
