Nomads Academy - Christmas Junior League Tournaments U9-U12

Nomads Academy will be running four junior league tournaments at the following age groups and times:

Under 9s – Friday 29th December – 9:00-13:00
Under 10s – Friday 29th December – 14:00-18:00

Under 11s – Saturday 30th December– 9:00-13:00
Under 12s – Saturday 30th December – 14:00-18:00

All ages will be 8v8 formats played on The Quay 3G with pitch markings and goals in place for these levels.

Format of twelve sides will include teams split into two leagues guaranteeing all sides five competitive fixtures.

Games will be fifteen minutes long.

Following the league phases 1st in both leagues will play off in a Grand Final, as will 2nd vs 2nd and 3rd vs 3rd from both leagues.

The above three finals will be two ten minute halfs.

Entry fee is just £40 pet team.

Teams can bring as many players down as they wish and their will be a Trophy and medals for the top three sides as well as a Player of The Tournament Award also.

With the above format we feel we offer a good amount of guaranteed playing time, a quick and simple tournament format ensuring the day runs smoothly and won't drag on.

We will also offer the best pitches available possible on 3G surface which are good size with specific pitch markings with no cones in site along with spectators standing zone also.

Games over the day will also be filmed and streamed live on our clubs you tube channel as well as professional photographs taken and added to clubs facebook page, available for all parents to take as they wish.

All teams, players and coaches will also be given free Welsh Premier league tickets for Connah’s Quay Nomads first team game vs Cefn Druids on Friday 29th December 19:45 kick off at the Deeside Stadium.

This year Nomads Academy is looking to aid our chosen charity for these events Leonard Cheshire, following the success of last Aprils tournament aiding gap 20:20 by over £2000!

We hope to gain another four sold out events in what should be a great two days of football action over the Christmas period.
