Last Friday our under 12s travelled away to Bangor City four this years Northern Final after finishing runners up to Bangor in the Super Six.
The Nomads took a one nil lead thanks to Connor Parry but Bangor hit back to take a two one lead going into half time. Nomads responded in the second half with an equaliser thanks to Louis O Carroll which took the game into extra time.
After a big one on one save by Rhys Lloyd in extra time, Noah Sumner scored a winner with just one minute remaining to crown our under 12s North Wales Academy Cup Champions!
Remarkably this feat was achieved again yesterday by our under 14s who defeated TNS by two goals to one. After winning al ten out of ten games in the Super Six the Nomads faced second placed TNS in the final at The Quay 3G.
Josh Williams scored two goals for Nomads before TNS responded late on to give the game a tense finish for Nomads, but two one was enough to see them alongside our U12s crowned North Wales champions.
An unbelievable achievement to have any side win North Wales title and make the national final but to have two sides alongside out first team who have made the Welsh Cup final is a testament to all the great work by all staff and players across the club.
Our U16s face Flint Town United this Friday evening in their North Wales final for an 20:00 kick off at The Quay 3G.
Other games this week saw our mini sides host TNS Friday evening with fixtures at The Quay 3G. Again we thank TNS for accommodating moving these games from the Saturday to aid the mini phase Madrid preparations.
Yesterday our U13s and U15s fell to 3-1 and 2-1 defeats to The New Saints at The Quay 3G in typical end to end and competitive fixtures.
Our under 19s brought their season to a close with a four nil away win to Caernarfon Town to bring a close to this seasons Welsh Premier Development League Program.
