U9 vs Liverpool and U10 vs Wigan, Fleetwood, Derby and Preston North End Information

7 months ago By Jay Catton

Full details for this weekends planned pro club fixtures for our under 9 and 10 sides.

After invitations this week we are pleased to announce two fantastic fixtures this weekend for our academy sides.

Our under 9s are away to Liverpool this Saturday for a 12:00 kick off.

Players are asked to arrive at LFC Academy in their full red jumper and training pants and have with them their full grey away playing kit with keepers in their all orange goalkeeper kit.

Arrival time is 11:00 for a 12:00 kick off in fixture against the Premier League Academy which will consist of two five vs five fixtures running alongside each other.

The fixture has been added onto the academy site and the adress for Saturday as follows:

The Liverpool Way, Liverpool L33 7ED

On top of Bury games for our mini phase teams Friday evening, our u9s vs Liverpool Saturday and our U8s away to Crewe Alex on Saturday our under 10s side have been invited to take part in a festival including Wigan Athletic, Fleetwood, Derby County and Preston North End also this coming Saturday.

Attached below is a full information pack which has been sent to us from Wigan with all information needed for parents, players and staff.

The key information includes:

Arrival Time: 10:00 - Players to arrive in training jumper and pants and have with them their full red playing kit to get changed into with goalkeepers in yellow kit.
Kick-Off Time: 11:00
Approx. Finish: 14:00
Location: Christopher Park Training Ground, Off Woodrush Road, Standish Lower Ground, Wigan, WN6 8LB

The event is a parent and scout free tournament so unfortunately parents are unable to watch these fixtures. But we have no doubts players will fully enjoy the opportunity of playing seven games of such a high standard of opposition in fifteen minute fixtures.

Good luck to both Craig Griffiths and Anthony Gomez U9s at Liverpool and Ben Nash and Jordan Parrys U10s at Wigan Athletic.
