Under 16 players earn trials with Stoke City.

4 years ago By Jay Catton

Richard Hughes and Hayden Hughes are to try their luck at Premier league academy Stoke City this week.

Following on from Ben Wynne going to Tranmere Rovers and Shaun Farrall going to Sheffield Wednesday last week we have received great news that two more are progressing to trials with professional clubs.

This takes our academys tally for the 2011-2012 season up to nine for players who have moved onto trial with professional clubs.

Hayden and Rich have both been ever presents for the Nomads side over the last two years and both came on a great deal last season under the guidance of Mark Rowlands when they played a year up in the under 16’s both only being under 15 players.

Both tall and very athletic players who are good on the ball and have great attitudes and willingness to keep improving.

A big well done to both players and we wish them good luck during their time at the Premiership academy side.
