With a number of the older players away the side was made up with nine of last seasons under 16 side and all players realy stood up well to the challenge.
For nearly all players, this was there first experience playing against a mens side.
First team manager Marc McGregor played for the side at the centre of defence and was fantastic for all the players who were involved.
The 18's went two nil down in the first half with two great strikes from the Town's left winger Phil Killa and centre midfielder Carl Wilson.
Jamie Wynne got one back for the side with a good header. Town though grabbed a third just before half time leaving the Nomads side losing by three goals to one.
The side played some good football and were standing up to the physical challenge well. Even more impressive was that the 18's were playing with ten men for the final twenty minutes of the half with Danny Millward picking up an injury.
The second half though saw the Nomads come right back into the game with three goals from Michael Foulkes, Aled Reece and Shaun Tinsley brought the score to four each.
With just a minute to go the Nomads snatched a last minute winner with a great through ball by Reece was finished well by Tinsley.
A great experience for this side and a very impressive performance by all players.
