Under 19s defeat Flint Mountain in NEWFA Horace Cup

4 years ago By Jay Catton

Our youth/reserve side progressed to the second round of the Horace Cup competition after a hard fought four two victory.

Flint Mountain senior side were a very strong and physical side and with the game being played at a local pitch on Flint High School it was a battling game which the lads did well to win.

After falling behind to an early goal Nomads responded through Rhys Healey and man of the match Josh Williams to give them the lead.

But Flint responded to draw level before strikes from Jamie Wynne and a second from Williams sealed the win.

Full match report from Mark Rowlands and player statistics from this and the last three games in 2012 have now been uploaded onto the website.
