Gemma Bamford - gap Connah's Quay Nomads Physiotherapist

Gemma Bamford is the club and academy physiotherapist.

The new club and academy physio Gemma Bamford began at the club at the start of the 2013-2014 season.

A massive positive from our academy programme being able to offer free physio treatment from Gemma at all Monday evening sessions for all players.

Gemma has represented Wales in netball and holds a degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Central Lancashire. As well as overseeing the academy she also looks after the first team and worked with a number of Team GB athletes at London 2012.

In order to book in with Gemma you must contact her direct through e mail on the following e mail adress:

cqnomadsacademyphysio@gmail.com

Parents must contact her no later than 18:00 on a Sunday evening.

Once you have sent her an e mail Gemma will confirm a specific time for the player.

All parents reminded they must be in attendance to the session and players will not be treated unless a parent/guardian is present.

Gemma will be set up in the squash court directly opposite the reception area.

If players are in need of further treatment following Mondays, Gemma is also available on Thursdays at the Deeside Stadium if anyone wishes more extensive treatment at a cost of just £15 for a 20-30 minute period.

Vital that booking are all done by e mail and no later than Sunday evenings to ensure bookings can be spread across the evening and all players can receive best treatment possible.
