BREAKING NEWS FROM INSIDE TEAM BULLS

It has been a very frustrating start to the new season, defeat in our first competitive game against an average Sunderland Castle Park side that is not to sound disrespectful but it was certainly a bad game for THE BULLS.

That has been put well and truly behind us now hopefully we trained extra sessions and a behind closed doors session with the lads has set a few things straight and again reaffirmed the teams ambitions and that one poor display does not make them a bad team.

Frustration after our home game with fellow promotion hopefuls Kelloe was changed at the last minute by the league and a game against Marsden put in its place however The Great North Run put paid to that and it was a weekend when we needed to play but it was not meant to be.

Next week we play away at Monkton Villa who have already had a league game and were on the receiving end of a heavy defeat so the game is a must win for the Consett side, McCabe is the only absentee and Captain Scott will be a more than adequate replacement for him other than that it is a full strength team and we are hopeful of getting the league campaign off to a flying start.

Washington are our opponents in The League Cup/Shield Competition that THE BULLS done so well in last time out but it is already agreed that this season is going to be the hardest we have faced so far, but The Gaffa and his coaching team are more than happy to take on this challenge and so are the players ready to give it the effort that will be required to push on this season.

There has already been some big wins for teams and we know the competition is going to be tough but all of us involved are ready.

There is a possible transfer in the pipe line but more news on that as developments advance but you will be updated as and when anything does materialise.

The Gaffa had said in pre season he had faith in what he had in the ranks of THE BULLS and again this is still the case he has full faith in the lads but with only four subs available on a match day and as this weekends selection goes THE BULLS will only have three subs available and that is if everyone is available for selection and if the transfer goes ahead it will be yet another statement of intent from Consetts Premier Junior Football Team.
