MATCH ON after passing pitch inspection this morning. Conwy are looking for a 5th win in a row at The Globe.

Conwy Borough return to league action on Saturday with a trip along the A55 to Buckley Town.

After last weeks 4-3 win over Briton Ferry Llansawel landed Borough a plum tie away to Bangor City in the 4th round in February, Conwy Borough boss Aden Shannon turns his attention to improving the sides league position “We are looking forward to getting on with the league campaign now as we can put the cup tie to bed until the New Year. We have some big games before then but we are taking one game at a time.”

"Buckley have started really well and their manager Tom Taylor has them well drilled, as we saw earlier in the season at Y Morfa. But we are going into this game with confidence and hoping to keep the good run going.”

The Tangerines are enjoying their best run of form this season having won the last four but face a Buckley Town side who are 4 places above the Tangerines in 6th place in the Huws Gray Alliance.

Shannon welcomes back midfielder Steve Cunningham and defender Jack Pickering into the squad for Saturday. Kick off is 2.30pm at Globe Way.
