The game began with a minutes silence that was immaculately observed by both sets of supporters, with Kody's team-mates joining the Bangor City & Conwy United players in the centre circle. A collection was made for the boys family and we would like to thank the generousity of both sets of supporters for the contributions that were made.

In the end the scoreline was immaterial but it proved another good run-out for Mick McGraa's men against quality opposition with John Owen & Eddie Jebb getting a goal each against their parent club.
