CONWY UTD APPEAL FOR PLAYER SPONSORS TO HELP FUND FLOODLIGHT REPAIRS
Conwy United have been dealt with a big blow as the floodlighting system at Y Morfa recently failed, resulting in a number of lights blowing out.
The repairs must take place before Friday night's home game vs Rhyl FC (24/02/12) when the biggest crowd of the season is expected.
The required works are expected to cost in excess of £1,000 which is an unforeseen cost for the club and with the Rhyl game being the only home game and source of match income this month is a big financial blow to the club.
The club have decided to run a fundraising initiative to help cover the costs of replacing the lights and are appealing to supporters and local businesses to help "turn on the lights" by sponsoring a player.
The player sponsor will receive their name against their player in the match programme and on the club website and will also receive a signed photo of their sponsored player.
Player sponsorship costs £35 and we would be really grateful for your support. Any donations towards the floodlight fund are also welcome and will be credited in the programme and on the website.
