Conwy Borough travel to Flint Town tonight in what will be the first game since the departure of Darren Moss earlier this week.

Moss’s assistant, Aden Shannon, has agreed to take up the reigns until the club decides upon a successor.

"After a difficult couple of days for the club, myself and the players - it's now about sticking together." said Shannon.

"Everyone is disappointed in whats gone on but we are all to blame for the situation as a group.

"I have spoken to all the lads and Mossy and they are 100% behind me and hopefully we get the right reaction.

"Flint is a tough place to go, and all the lads know that, but they are all up for this challenge."

Shannon has been boosted by the return of midfielder Danny Desormaux who has made himself available with the squad struggling with suspensions to Jack Graham, Chris Li, Steve Connor and Shannon himself who serves a dug-out ban. Naim Arsan is still away with international duty with the Wales Futsal Squad.

Drafted back into the squad is under 19’s youngster Jack Roberts along with Callum Parry who retains his place in the squad from Saturday's away trip to Rhayader.

One member of Moss's backroom staff, coach Jayson Starkey, has decided to step down and departs with the clubs thanks and best wishes for the future.

With Shannon unable to occupy the dug-out due to his suspension, the clubs Academy Director Chris Whitley and U19 manager Paul Braithwaite both step in to assist as the Tangerines go in search of a first league win for four matches.
