Blacon Youth FC 2-4 Conwy Borough

Conwy found the West Cheshire League side to be determined opposition but it was Conwy who took the lead through a penalty kick which was driven home by Colin Quirk.
Blacon equalised when a determined run from their number 7 down the right hand side ended up with the ball falling to their centre forward who finished well past Kasbarian.
The lead was restored when a Conwy corner kick was met by Mike Sharples to head home . HT 2-1
A number of changes were made in the second half but Conwy Borough went further ahead with a goal from Luke O'Mahoney. There was more good work on the left from Luke O Mahoney beating the defender and laying the ball on for trialist Corey Jones to slot home from close range.
Blacon rarely threatened with Conwy enjoying the vast majority of the possession with some good passing moves but the home side pulled a goal back when a corner failed to be cleared by the Conwy defence which fell to a Blacon player to fire home from the edge of the box.
