Conwy Borough manager, Darren Moss, welcomes new signing Danny Laverty into the squad for the home game vs Penycae on Saturday.

Moss expects a stern test against Steve Walters outfit: "They have been scoring lots of goals but conceding too so it will be a entertaining game I feel."

"We are on a great run at the minute and really starting to gel as a team. Last week we could of won in double figures and I am confident we will always score goals. We have also tightened up at back so that's a massive plus."

Speaking about Laverty, the former Blackburn trainee, Moss said: "I believe will be a huge asset to us, he has great feet quick and will score goals given the chance."

Moss also mentioned youngster Callum Parry who steps up from the Under 19's and into the squad for the first time after impressing the manager in training: "He's got a great attitude and is willing to learn and deserves his place in the squad."

There are doubts over Danny Desormaeux who is still yet to feature this season along with Kyle Wilson (work commitments) Steve Cunningham (knee injury) with Teddy Whelan also a doubt as his partner is expecting.

The Tangerines will be hoping for a continuation of the winning form from the last three matches to keep within touching distance of the league leaders.
