Honours - Gill Davies
GILL DAVIES
Gill Davies, our club secretary, is one of the true superstars of the Coventry League. She began her career playing in our club's C team, and her vast skills and talent were soon noticed and she was selected for the England U/21 team in 1975. Gill became a firm fixture in thh national team thereafter, and was asked to be vice captain for the World Tournament held in Trinidad and Tobago, and for the 1981 tours of Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Gill has been a long serving captain of the A team, leading our club to many premiership league wins as well as the National Division 4 championship in 1995.
Gill's talents also extend to coaching and umpiring. She coached the Warwickshire senior teams in 1995/6.
