CHC is committed to safe play

At the club we are committed to following best practice to make sure our young people are kept safe when playing and training.
Therefore we advise that all players wear shin pads and also protective gum shields. These can both be brought from high street sports shops.
Astro boots can also be a good idea for the wet weather - as they have more grip and prevent slipping over.
Please chat with coaches Bob and Scott if you would like any advice on other protective equipment.

Also we would remind our spectators to be vigilant when standing on the sidelines. Stray balls can from time to time come out of the playing field and hit spectators so please make sure you keep an eye on the ball.

Club Secretary Sarah Ward has also recently completed a Safeguarding and Protecting Children course certified by UK Sport, so please be assured that best practices are being followed.
