Hawarden Rangers v First Team
This Saturday the First Team are in league cup action away to Hawarden Rangers. The two sides have a lot of history in this competition; with them meeting in the Quarter Final of the 2010/11 competition which Corwen won 1-0 thanks a goal from Jack Crompton. Corwen went on to lose 1-0 to Gresford Athletic in the final.

The following season the sides met again, this time in the Semi-Final at Corwen, with the visitors progressing thanks to a 1-0 win. Hawarden also went on to lose to Gresford in the final.

Two years ago there was a switch of venue, but not the score line, as Corwen lost 1-0 at the Gladstone Playing fields in the Quarter Final.

Dewi Edwards is out with a snapped achilles, Elfyn Roberts is missing with a hand injury, while Jack Crompton is out with ligament damage. Paul Jones should be available after missing the Welsh Cup game at Lex on holiday.
