The last couple of weeks has seen a revamp of the pitch with the old, infamous goalposts finally being taken down and replaced with some new ones. With advice and support from the LRU's Development Officer, we managed to secure a small grant to help with the cost and whilst we were at it, we also purchased new flag poles, safety corner flags and new, custom made protectors all round to give the pitch a new look. We couldn't have completed it without some help of course, David Marriott of Apex Group organising and undertaking the installation works, with assistance from Joe Farrands, Andy Timms and Josh Hollingsworth.
