Hodson to Captain Force A
Cottesloe Star to Lead Force A against Australian Barbarians tonight
Cottesloe's own Ryan Hodson has been named captain of the Force A side to play the Aussie BaaBaa's at nib Stadium tonight in the curtain raiser to the Force v Reds trial.
This follows on from Ryan's 80 minute effort for the Force against the Brumbies in Darwin in the first trial match on 2012. Ryan will start in his familiar openside flanker role and is joined in the back row by Nick Haining, another of the Cottesloe trio training full time with the Force.
The third member of the trio is Ollie Hoskins, and he will aim to make an impact off the bench, along with even more Cottesloe players in the form of Ryan Louwrens and Nick Lekimmlim. Ryan joins Cott this year after returning from South Africa, and the young half back is looking to show everyone what a quality player he is.
And long time Force and Cott hooker Ben Whittaker will play some time in the A game before no doubt coming off the bench in the main trial.
So get down there and get a ticket to the games, and support your Cott players. A kick off at 4.40!
