A fabulous day was had by the 70 strong contingent of players, parents, brothers and sisters as the young Tigers biked to raise money for kit.

Cycling the 13 mile round trip from New Ellerby to Hornsea turned into a fun day in the sunshine - raising money has never been so much fun.

Moving so many people along the narrow cycle track wasn't easy but, aside from a couple of annoyed jockeys aside, the day was full of smiles and only the odd spillage of blood occurred.

After arrival at Hornsea - naturally the lads hit the sea. Despite it being a warm day, none of the parents got wet.

After fish and chips and an ice cream, a Parents vs Players game was held. (Wo)Man of the match went to Lisa Mullins for her aggressive running and razor sharp tackling !!! ;-)

Many thanks to all who took part and made it a memorable day. Special thanks to the wonderful Sue Perkins, her family and staff at The Railway Inn, New Ellerby (go there, eat there, drink Bass) - not only did she shoot back from Hornsea to open the pub specially for the very thirsty parents at the end of the trip, but also added to the sponsor money. Thanks Sue !!

All sponsor funds to Nigel please !

Cheers

Rich
