Summary of game v NEW Ravens

On a sombre day when the entire RL Family came together to raise money in memory of the late Danny Jones, the Dragons yet again produced a scintillating performance to brush aside the challenge of the NEW Ravens.

The Dragons have arguably had an easy start to the 2015 season and the Midlands Premier League table certainly backs up this claim...but, all this has come from a brand new side, playing a brand new structure, under a brand new coaching team. No matter what the opposition, this is a serious achievement.

After last week’s demolition of Leicester Storm, paired with an almost faultless display of Rugby League, the Dragons’ were on a real high going into the game against the NEW Ravens. Right from the offset, the NEW Ravens were never going to be able to match the intensity and flair of an exciting-looking Dragons squad,.

The Dragons looked slick in attack and ferocious in defence, picking up where they left off last week against the Storm. Although there were no tries of notoriety, no contenders for Try Of The Year, the Dragons were clinical and took the opportunities they were presented. Harry Marks stole the show with 6 tries, closely followed by Clive Jackson with 5, Captain Dean Thompson chipped in with 2, with singles from Marcus White, Steffan Thompson, Rob Wood and Sean Roberts completing the rout.
