Coventry Dragons are continuing in their aim of developing local players with the addition of two new signings for the 2017 season. The club are delighted to welcome scrum half Joe Higgins and centre Sam Brown to the squad.

Joe currently plays for Rugby Lions RUFC and has spent the 2 seasons before that playing for Massey RFC in New Zealand. He also brings some rugby league experience to the squad having represented Coventry Bears at junior level alongside a number of our current players.

Sam is an outside back and comes to us looking to make his mark in the Midlands Premier League. At 101kgs he will add some size out wide and from what we hear he doesn't mind putting a big shot on in defence. Having played representative Rugby Union for Warwickshire County as well as coming through the highly regarded Coventry Rugby Academy Henley College we look forward to seeing how he adapts to league.
