For the first time this season, the Coventry Dragons are delighted to be able to call upon the talents of both James and Michael Ryan for the weekend clash against Birmingham Bulldogs.

Both players have been with us since the first session back in February and have thoroughly impressed. The hugely talented duo will take to the pitch for the first time together this season, further bolstering the Dragons' already solid Forward line.

James, a no-nonsense, hard-running Prop, played in our first game of the year and impressed with a couple tries and has been good in training. Michael, a strong, skilful Second Row, has not played Rugby League in a couple years but is ready to make his debut after impressing throughout the whole of pre season.

Coach Scott Clendenning-Fenton commented "I coached Michael back when he first tried league back in under 16s. He was a skinny winger with good pace but over the years he has developed into a hard running forward with really good fitness. He has great experience at a high level, playing for the Coventry Rugby Union first team back in 2013 and we can't wait to see how he progresses being back in rugby league with the Dragons".
