Would you be interested in this rare opportunity to coach and manage one of our existing teams?

Coventry Sphinx have over 26 Junior teams as well as the Youth team who play in the Midland Floodlit Youth League and our First Team who play in the Premier Division of the Midland Football League. We are committed to providing the best facilities and opportunities to all who play in a Sphinx shirt and all who support these players.

This would be an ideal opportunity for an aspiring coach who is looking to start their journey in voluntary junior management, or someone who already has the skills to help develop this group of committed youngsters.

What can we offer to you?
As a Charter Standard Club we require all of our junior managers to have at least the Level 1 FA Coaching qualification or are happy to work towards this qualification which will be part funded by Coventry Sphinx FC.
All teams are provided with playing kit and we ask that managers bring in a shirt sponsor for at least 2 years and we can also offer support with this if needed.
Obviously, we also provide the kit for hosting a game such as goals, balls and corner flags.

We also insist that all managers and coaches undergo a DBS check which will be organised by our Safeguarding Officer.

We ask that you are committed to developing this young side. There will be admin that will require completion alongside the training and games and we can again offer support with this.

If you are interested and would like to register your interest then please email dave@coventrysphinx.co.uk in the first instance by the end of the day on Friday 21 June. Please include your name and a contact number and details of any teams you have been involved with. Please remember that this role is based on supporting the current players.
