Manager Stuart Dutton has moved to add attacking midfielder Charlie Faulkner to his Coventry Sphinx first team squad. Faulkner made his debut for Coventry Sphinx on Saturday and within minutes of coming on as a substitute he was providing the assist for a Sphinx goal.
Faulkner arrives from Knowle where he scored twice in his four matches before arriving at Sphinx Drive. He made his name at Stratford Town who describe him as “Tenacious and quick with an eye for goal”. He progressed from the Stratford Town Youth team into their first team squad and last season he made 15 appearances for the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League club. Charlie played in a Birmingham Senior Cup match against Coventry City and his Man of the Match performance helped Stratford to a 2-0 win over the then League 1 side.
