Sphinx put in Jekyll and Hyde performance against Sutton Utd who play in Midland League 2. The first half was very lack lustre with Sutton with Sutton having the best efforts on goal. It was until the 2nd half when Sphinx upped their workrate that they took a hold on the game creating 3 good chances before Gio Dainty got on to a Ash Jackson corner to score with a fine header. 10 minutes later Chris gummery got onto a Jackson corner at the near post to score.
The final score was 2-0 but manager Luke Hopkins will need a much better performance from his team when they entertain Barwell on Tuesday Evening at Sphinx Drive 7.30pm kick off. Admission is £2.50.
